The Winchester Model 1912 is a hammerless slide-action, i.e., pump-action, shotgun with an external tube magazine. Popularly-named the Perfect Repeater at its introduction, it largely set the standard for pump action shotguns over its 51 year high-rate production life. From 1912 until first discontinued by Winchester in 1963, nearly two million Model 12 shotguns were produced in various grades and barrel lengths. A .410 version was never produced; instead, a scaled-down version of the Model 12 known as the Model 42, directly derived from scaled drawings of the Model 12, was produced for .410.

Henry is a son of a mafia-linked Sicilian lawyer, as he was sent to America in 1931 to escape Mussolini's clampdown on the mafia. In Empire Bay Henry came under the protection of Mafioso Albert Clemente, an old family friend.

It seems that Henry doesn't like to talk about his personal life. Judging by the reports made by an undercover FBI agent he has good connections whit high ranking mafia members. He also seems to be a frequent visitor of strip clubs and bars in Empire Bay. He is in his late 20s - early 30s in his first appearance. Henry is also a role model for Vito and Joe and also a teacher who helps them advance in the mob.
